JOB PURPOSE

  • Translating market insights into market strategy with actionable business programs and ensuring regional implementation

YOUR ROLE

  • Design and develop strategic business programs. Drive and manage regional execution of market strategy.
  • Manage strategic steering, e.g. KSIs to contribute to SBU / market segment financial goals
  • Develop and manage selective global programs as part of the SBU KSIs
  • Partner with business and collaborate with senior management to drive regional market strategy
  • Drive analysis of regional market size, landscape and segmentation and derive regional channels for go-to-market
  • Evaluate and decide on new market potentials / white spots and adjacencies 
  • Provide strategic input from the region to global M&A pipeline
  • Provide strategic input based on regional insights for innovation agenda 
  • Ensure contribution to business cases and models regionally
  • Align with global market strategy for regional roll-outs

INDIVIDUALLY TASKS (TIME IN %)

  • Design and develop strategic business programs incl. evaluation of new market potentials (20%)
  • Drive and manage regional execution of market strategy, and convert to sales pipeline (40%)
  • Develop and manage selective global programs of key importance for the region (20%)
  • Partner with business and steer other marketing functions to activate new products introductions and new sales models (20%)

YOUR SKILLS

  • 8-10 years working experience in Marketing, Strategic Sales or Business Development
  • Academic degree in business or engineering, MBA is highly preferred
  • Strategic thinking and team play, strong communication and influencing skills
  • High affinity to digital tools, for new business models and sustainability
  • Excellent English and Chinese language skills are a must
