  • Lead, manage and develop a team of highly specialized Innovation Project Managers for our business unit Automotive Components in APAC
  • Manage, steer and reviews programs of related innovation projects
  • Develop and maintain balanced innovation project portfolio to meet business revenue and profit targets for innovation launches
  • Ensure alignment of innovation programs with global business plans, technical / customer roadmaps, positioning, risk analysis and mitigation plans
  • Identify potential key gaps and develop alternative solutions in cooperation with regional and Global PD Leads in order to meet the business targets
  • Provides regular updates on innovation projects progress to various gremiums and decision bodies
  • Monitor activities on project level within the various innovation programs in AAC APAC with the individual project managers in the team
  • Organize and lead project and program review meetings and team meetings
  • Monitor adequate quality before launch, confirm cross-functional alignment and support launch of new products in manufacturing when needed


  • strong PM skills & experience with projects serving the automotive industry (PMP certificate required)
  • Deep understanding of product development activities in the chemical industry
  • Excellent communication skills in English using all communication media
  • Preferred: first experience managing small and highly specialized teams
  • Sound experience using specialized innovation software for project, portfolio and resource management (preferred: Planview
