About this position
About this Position
- As the “first line of defense” for production site quality, lead the QC team to monitor the entire production process (from raw material receiving → semi-finished product processing → finished product filling and packaging), ensuring compliance with GMP, ISO 22716, and national cosmetic regulations.
- Work closely with production supervisors, laboratory inspectors, QA, and other stakeholders to promptly resolve on-site quality issues.
What you´ll do
- Strictly comply with cosmetic regulations and company policies, diligently perform duties to ensure all related work meets quality and safety requirements.
- Establish and continuously improve inspection management systems to ensure quality control of raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished products, and finished products in accordance with technical specifications and group standards.
- Develop laboratory management systems to standardize validity management (e.g., testing instruments and equipment, reagents, reference standards, samples) and ensure the reliability of quality control results.
- Ensure test results meet regulatory requirements, and that all inspection records are complete, accurate, and traceable.
- Organize analysis, evaluation, and handling of abnormal test results, and maintain relevant records. Discuss non-conformance analysis, propose solutions, and follow up on corrective and improvement measures provided by suppliers/contractors and the production department.
- Supervise production quality, determine quality issues, and review quality investigation reports or rework plans from the production department or suppliers.
- Participate in evaluation and validation of production and product-related changes.
- Provide necessary quality training for production departments, suppliers, and contractors.
What makes you a good fit
- Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in cosmetic production or laboratory testing.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in cosmetic physical and chemical testing, packaging material and finished product inspection; familiar with common laboratory instruments operation and maintenance; able to independently develop testing SOPs and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Management Skills: Strong leadership and organizational coordination abilities; capable of effectively managing a lab team and driving cross-department collaboration; highly responsible and resilient under pressure.
- Documentation & Reporting: Skilled in writing test reports, lab management documents, and audit reports; proficient in office software (e.g., Excel, Word).
- Certifications: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ISO9001 Internal Auditor, ISO22716 Internal Auditor) is preferred.
